What I'm wearing - Zara polka dot dress #2

Hello Everyone! Hope your all well :)

I'm back at uni this week for my final ever term which is quite petrifying. However Im just going to work hard and do my best because once its all over there is no going back (eekkk), if any of you guys are in your final year and final term then I wish you all the very best of luck!

On Sunday night, it was my boyfriends work party. I have never been to one of his before so I wasn't too sure what to wear. I didn't really want to go out and buy anything because being a student, I can't really afford too.  However, my boyfriend (Craig) did get me a dress from Zara which I thought would be perfect for the occasion.

Zara polka dot dress - £15.99

Where it is quite cold in England at the moment especially at night, I thought the dress would be perfect as it has long sleeves, and you can wear the dress with tights. Im a sucker for clothes with a collar, so I absolutely LOVE this dress. You can dress it up or down, depending on occasion by teaming it with a pair of heels or a nice pair of flats/boots. Its such as a comfy dress too which makes you want to wear it all the time. So this dress is definitely going to be staying in my wardrobe for a long time!

Are there any dresses that you have seen on the high-street that you like?

Zara Bold & Blue..

Hello Everyone!

Its been a long time since I've done an outfit post. So I thought this week I would treat you all too one! Last night I went out for drinks with my friends to ave a little catch up and I thought I would wear one of my new tops which I got for Christmas from my parents.

I thought this top would go really nicely with some disco pants or a pair of black jeans, so I opted for the disco pants! I also teamed it with my gold chunky chain River Island necklace which I have worn in previous blog posts as I thought it would make the top more of a statement.

I love the colour of this top its such a bold, blue colour and really makes you stand out. I got so many compliments on it, and you can glam it up with accessories and heals and a nice black clutch bag.

Top - Zara ( Xmas present)
Black disco pants - Urban Outfitters (old) Similar HERE £12

As I've sprained my ankle (bad times) I couldn't wear heels last night so I wore my River Island cut out ankle boots instead which my boyfriend kindly got me for Christmas. With tops like this one you can either dress it up or down. So its good for a daytime outfit and then if you are going out for drinks in the evening you can dress it up too.

Did you get any clothes for christmas that you love? Would you like to see more outfit posts?

New year. Feeling fresh :) Storage tips #1

Happy new year everyone :)

I know its a bit late but better late than never! I hope you all enjoyed the festive season as much as I did. Some of you may be wondering why I haven't blogged in such a long time? The reason being is due to lots of uni assignments and deadlines just before Christmas & New Year which meant lots of stress and running around like a headless chicken getting last minute Christmas presents. But fear not, because I am back :) and hopefully more regularly now as well :).

As its the start of a new year (even though were 10 days in already)I always find theres nothing better than starting the new year being organised. Im the worst for organisation skills however this year I thought I would spend the first few days of 2014 organising my bedroom, my make-up, uni work ect, in hope that it would help me throughout the year. SO I started off with my make-up and I thought I would share it with you to help you guys out if you want to get organised this year :)

A few weeks ago just before Christmas, I was having a casual browse in TK Maxx and i spotted this floral tin, it reminded me a bit of the Kath Kidston collection. Being your standard 22 year old girl, I have collected a fair few nail polishes over the years and I find them scattered all over the place at home, at my uni house, so I thought this would be perfect to store them in & at £3 you can't really go wrong..

Not only is it good for storing nail polishes or lipsticks whatever you fancy putting in it, its also very attractive looking and looks amazing on my dressing table and adds a vintage touch which I personally love. If you fancy one of these yourself take a trip to TK Maxx and have a little browse they are SO good for little bits like this at reasonable prices too.

How do you store your makeup? If you would like to see more of these posts let me know in the comments below, I'm thinking of maybe doing them on a weekly basis on how I store and organise different bits & bobs. Let me know your thoughts!
